Youngstown Clothing Co.​ had DiRusso's Sausage and a bunch of Y-Town's other favorite vendors out to mark their store's grand opening at the Southern Park Mall​ in Boardman, OH
We were there, and the mall was cool-enough to let us fly around and get some aerial shots of the event.

Sorry it's been a while...

Thing's have been a little crazy the last few years. New sUAS regs have changed up things a bit in the Aerial Photography world, and in our own private lives there's been a bunch of moving and shaking going on and we are now officially operating out of North-East Ohio!

A bit of a jump from California, but the skys are still blue out here and our love for flying drones hasn't changed!

As of last year we are now FAA Part 107 Certified and booking flights! Be sure to drop us a line and check back often as we're going to try to keep this site alive with posts from our latest flights.

In the last few months we've been doing a lot of Real Estate, and Commercial Development shoots which, might not sound all that exciting, but with the amazing Fall and Spring colors Ohio has to offer... we've come across some amazing sights! Check them out below!

 

 

The Way We Weren't

A while back we got to do some flying for a little movie that's coming out called The Way We Weren't and upcoming Rom-Com featuring Fiona Gubelmann (MAD MEN, WILFRED), Ben Lawson (RAKE), Tobin Bell (SAW), and Keith Powell (30 Rock), Amber Stevens (22 JUMP STREET) and Ronnie Blevins (TRUE DETECTIVE).

We got a call from Director Brian DiMuccio the other day
and heard it's in it's final stages of editing and should be released soon!

We can't wait to see the final cut and be sure to keep your eyes peeled for some epic-aerial action shot by your's truly! ;-)

Pacific Palisades

We got to shoot another amazing SoCal property with our friends at Premiere Real Estate Video. This beautiful property is just up the street in the Pacific Palisades at 1325 Chautauqua Blvd.

Digital Video Magazine

Digital Video Magazine did an article this month featuring our company as well as our friends over at RayTeam Camera and Team BlackSheep! Be sure to check it out (pages 38-40)! Overhead

From beach parties to downtown, getting amazing Aerial shots is both safer and easier using MultiRotors or Drones.

Being able to take off and land from a parking lot or the back of a car makes UAV technology extremely portable and versatile. That's not to say that you should or can fly anytime or anywhere.

Operators need to be skilled and aware of their surroundings and flying conditions. Just because more and more professional level Drones are being designed and built with the general public in mind, doesn't give pilots an excuse to abuse the technology.

New pilots should avoid flying over crowds and even experienced pilots should only fly over populated areas in controlled situations.
Play safe out there!

We've been busy!

We've been pretty busy lately, but that's no excuse! We're going to work harder to keep up with our posts here on out!

In the last few months we've shot some Real Estate, flew Helen, our Hexacopter, in a spec shoot for a beer commercial, booked another event with #TINhouse at the EDC Festival in Vegas this month, shot some more Real Estate, and helped with a shoot for the kids from the NBC TV series BELIEVE.

Our Instagram has just surpassed 100 Followers and we'll be giving our "Drone Selfie" prize out to Kevin Robledo at Expressionary Films for being our 100th follower!

Production Work!

Super excited about our first professional Production shoot with Hammer Entertainment and Steelyard Pictures. We can't get into details, but we're up at Big Bear Lake in Southern California shooting some scenes over the water! It's a little nerve-wracking but we stayed up late in the hotel room making sure everything wss charged and ready to roll this morning!

New Footage a-comin!

Damn... so apparently Premiere Pro doesn't like to work with MP4 files very much! After trying to put together a footage reel using software that was barely working, I discovered that converting the footage to AVI format fixed the choppy playback.

Now things are running smooth, and we should have the latest footage reel posted for everyone to enjoy in the next day or so!

Downtown Flyin

Have an early call-time and a short production gig tomorrow in Downtown LA. Gonna bring the bird with me to get some shots in the Artist District afterwards. Hopefully it won't be gloomy like it was today.
